Dr Matthew Hewitson

Head Chiropractor & Director

Matthew holds a Master’s in Chiropractic and is fully registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) — the UK’s governing body for chiropractors.

Why this matters:

Registration with the GCC means you can trust that your chiropractor:

  • Provides the highest standards of care and professionalism
  • Is fully qualified to treat you safely and effectively
  • Follows the strict Code of Practice for Chiropractors

Matthew’s training goes far beyond traditional chiropractic care. He’s also:

  • A Level 3 Personal Trainer
  • Qualified in Cupping and Hijama therapy
  • Certified in Instrument-Assisted Fascia Manipulation
  • Skilled in OMT Dry Needling and Electrical Acupuncture

  • Chiropractic Adjustments & Manipulation
  • Cupping and Hijama therapy
  • Instrument-Assisted Fascia Manipulation
  • OMT Dry Needling and Electrical Acupuncture

After suffering injuries in the past and being in pain, Matthew decided to re-train as a Chiropractor to help people that had been in similar situations like himself. Coming from a personal training, sports coaching and sports massage therapy background he wanted to learn other ways to be able to help people. It was the best decision he ever made. After studying at the University of Bournemouth he realised his true passion.

Matthew takes a friendly, comprehensive and personalised approached to his treatments. Not just treating the symptoms but the root cause of the pain.

When he’s not in the clinic, you will often find him on the golf course playing a round or at the gym.

Katherine Hewitson

Performance Coach & Director

  • UKA Coach Level 3 (specialising in endurance)
  • ALTIS World: coaching the endurance events
  • Personal Training (Level 3)
  • BA (Hons) Physical Education (Secondary QTS) : 2:1
  • TPI level 1
  • Boxing Instructor
  • ECB foundation coach

Katherine’s coaching philosophy is shaped by years of experience across a wide range of sports and athletic disciplines. Having worked with athletes from beginners to elite performers, she has developed a deep understanding of biomechanics, movement efficiency, and the individual differences that influence performance.

Her approach is holistic yet grounded in teaching sound fundamentals, focusing on the technical, physical, and mental aspects that allow athletes to build lasting skills and confidence. While influenced by the world-class coaching principles of Altis, Katherine’s philosophy is ultimately rooted in her own extensive experience as both an athlete and a coach. She believes in the power of movement to unlock potential and strives to help every individual discover what they are truly capable of, in sport and beyond.

Katherine is an accomplished athlete and coach with a lifelong passion for sport, education, and helping others grow.

Having competed for Woking AC and the South of England in endurance running and combined events, her own experience with injury inspired her to move into coaching and teaching.

Her career has seen her teach in London, become Head of PE in Woking, and manage teams for Middlesex Schools Athletics, where she also led initiatives to increase girls’ participation in football. Katherine has coached athletes at Ealing AC and West London Track and Field Juniors, and currently serves as Surrey Schools’ team manager for cross country and combined events.

Beyond athletics, she contributes to community cricket and the MCC Foundation in Guildford, integrating movement based training principles that have helped teams achieve national success.

A qualified TPI coach, she also supports golfers in developing their performance through movement and athletic conditioning.

Today, Katherine continues to enjoy training for fun, often with a 5K run and remains dedicated to helping others realise their full potential in sport and beyond.

Jemma has always loved being active, from playing rugby in the past to running, mountain biking and going to the gym. She now loves being able to be active in her work now too!
