Massage therapies in St John’s, Woking

Whether you are training hard, sitting at a desk all day, recovering from injury, or just feeling tense and worn out, our massage therapies are here to support your body.

At My Complete Health in St John’s, Woking, we offer a range of hands‑on treatments – from sports massage and soft tissue therapy to manual lymphatic drainage, pregnancy massage, 1:1 Pilates and dry needling – to help you move more comfortably, ease aches and pains, and support recovery.

Sports massage & Soft tissue therapy

If you are active, on your feet a lot, or dealing with sore, tight muscles, sports massage and soft tissue therapy can be a great option.

These sessions focus on easing muscle tension, improving blood flow and helping your body recover from training, sport, or day‑to‑day strain. You can book shorter sessions for specific areas, or longer appointments for a more in‑depth treatment.

Injury rehab & Recovery support

If you’re dealing with a specific injury or a niggle that keeps coming back, you may need more than just hands‑on massage. Our therapists can combine soft tissue work with simple rehab exercises and practical advice to help you calm symptoms down, build strength back up, and return to the activities you enjoy.

Depending on what you need, we may suggest a focused sports therapy session, 1:1 Pilates, or strength and rehab work, so your recovery plan fits both your body and your goals

Pregnancy and post‑natal massage

Pregnancy and the post‑natal period place extra demands on your body. Pregnancy and post‑natal massage use safe, adapted positions and gentle techniques to ease tension, support aches and pains, and give you time to relax.

These sessions focus on common areas of discomfort such as the lower back, hips, legs, and shoulders, and are tailored to the stage of pregnancy or recovery you are in.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle, rhythmic massage that works with your lymphatic system to help reduce swelling, support circulation and leave you feeling lighter and more relaxed.

It can be particularly helpful for fluid retention, certain post‑surgical recoveries (where appropriate), and times when you want a calmer, restorative treatment rather than deep pressure.

1:1 Pilates

Alongside hands‑on massage, we also offer 1:1 Pilates sessions in the clinic to help you build strength, control and mobility. These sessions are tailored to your body and goals – whether that’s easing back or hip pain, improving posture, or supporting your return to running or sport.

Pilates can work really well alongside massage to help you not only feel better in the short term, but also support longer‑term changes in how you move.

Dry Needling

Dry needling uses very fine needles into tight or overworked areas of muscle to help release tension and reduce pain. It can be used alongside massage and rehab exercises as part of a wider treatment plan, particularly for stubborn trigger points or long‑standing muscle tightness.

Your therapist will always discuss whether this is appropriate for you, and it is only carried out with your consent.

Sports Therapies

For more complex or longer‑term issues, our sports therapy sessions combine hands‑on treatment with tailored rehab and performance support.

This can be especially helpful if you’re dealing with a sports injury, recurring niggle, or need guidance on safely building back up after time out. Your therapist can help you decide whether a straightforward massage, a sports therapy session, or a mix of both is best for you right now.
